I'm building a new system, and am not sure what GPU to buy

I'm stuck between a PowerColor 6900XT Red Devil for $1600, an EVGA FTW3 3080 for $1800 or a 3080to FE for $2100.

I'm going to use it with a 5900X, 32GV DDR4 3600. I've already bought everything but the monitor, and set aside $2500 for the GPU (yea, prices really suck right now. But it is what it is).

I'm going to be doing 4K gaming (have not bought monitor yet. Waiting until I buy a GPU - g-sync or freesync) and maybe some streaming.

What do you guys think would be the best choice?

Solution
So you have your answer 🤣, obviously the 6900XT will be the better option, since performance generally is above the 3080 level by a few fps, the price is cheaper and gives some monitor flexability 💪

If you really want or need Ray Tracing, then the 3080 FTW performance is barely behind the 3080ti FE, so the Ti really isn't worth the extra cash. Otherwise the 6900XT generally keeps pace with a 3090 at a much lower price tag.
I don't really care about ray tracing. the three cards are not all that far off on a frame rate basis. But the $500 price difference is not small. it would let me get a better display (maybe 4k/144hz instead of a 60)
