I bought a i7 2600k and plan on overclocking it to 4.5 ghz. I currently own a GTX 1060 6gb but I'm planning on upgrading the GPU as well. I'm currently deciding between a gtx 1660 super or a rx 5600xt. Which one of these GPU's would perform best with my cpu and if both of them aren't good options which gpu would you recommend? Thanks.

Solution
Well i have a 2600k @ 4.5 with a 1080Ti but play in 1440p. The card is mostly utilised well <>90%, roughly 10fps difference between that of a newer system, ie 8700k. I've played in 1080p on this monitor also and it never pushed my cpu to maximum. Close, but not maximum. This is in games like Farcry 5 and Ghost Recon WL, around the 80fps mark in 1440p dipping to 60 in some places. Farcry 5 around the same but with higher minimums. 1080p was roughly 20fps more in both titles.

So you could go higher, possibly 3060Ti when it's available. Up to you, your cpu can handle more than what is being considered, imho.
