Which GPU would be best for under $170??

I would like to upgrade my current GPU which is a MSI Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB, these are my PC specs.

Mainboard-760GM-P23 (FX)
4gb RAM
CPU-AMD FX6300
GPU- MSI Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB
Power-550W

I have looked at the GTX 750 and R7 260 they seem pretty good any other suggestions?

You can get 750ti. I would recommend just keeping the card you have the difference between these cards a little none since r7 260 and 7770 are the same card.

So if I wanted to get better FPS would i need to go up to around the $200 mark and get something like a 270x or a
Radeon HD 7850 something around that??

You'll want to save to $250 to get a real upgrade. A GTX 660 is at the top of your budget and is only a minor upgrade over what you already have. Save for a 760.

I'm sorry, if you already have a 7770 GHz then you probably want to get something more like a GTX 760 to make it worth the upgrade.
