So my question is which GPU would be better for Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz:
Palit GeForce GTX 1060 Super JetStream (6GB, 192bit)
or
Palit GeForce GTX 970 JetStream (4GB, 256bit)

Thanks in advance.

I would go with the 1060 with the higher, faster VRAM and built on the Pascal architecture.

thats is the bus speed, how quickly the memory can be accessed, but on the 1060 and what not it has other features which makes little difference between 192bit and 256bit, some one will correct me if i am wrong. And the pricing is because they are still trying to get money back on the old tech, they can only reduce it so much without making a loss. look at the 980 ti , some cases it costs more than the 1070 which is the better card in general (most cases ) not the anyone should buy more expensive older worse performing tech any way. Also Titan and 980 ti are 384bit bus and the 1080 is 256bit. 1080 kills both accept the new Titan X pascal.

The 192 bit and 256 bit are the memory interface. Obviously the higher is better. With that being said, Pascal is designed with faster core and memory clocks, easily making up the difference. The big thing that is the difference in these cards is VRAM. You want more VRAM to use high resolutions and Anti Aliasing.

970 has a advertised 4GB, but it is actually 3.5GB. No, we are not going to go into that discussion. Let leave that in the past.
