Solution
You'd have to be nuts to pay the money for a 2070 super at the moment, they're $600-700!!!

If you can't wait then the only sensible gpu of the moment is the 5700xt which at the $400 mark outperforms or matches a 2070 super in an awful lot of titles.

Its the only card currently available that is actually worth the money imo.

Solution
One advantage of an interim EVGA card is their free 90 day upgrade option.
Look into the requirement details for that option on their web site.

That relies on evga's rrp prices though and currently the Evga 2070 super is well north of $600 when it's actually retail is around $460

He will lose around $200 instantly even if he can use the upgrade option in the future.

DO you have any 3070 companies you think are reliable users to buy from? or does it not matter
