Of course what Cilliers said along with the fact that any 150$ GPU will be bottlenecked by your i3.

I was able to play borderlands 2 with a second gen i3 and 560 Ti back in the day. Just don't expect much better than that. I wouldn't upgrade past a 750Ti with that CPU.

The $150 graphics arena is in flux. The $150 GTX1050/ti is expected to compete in that range and be competitive with the RX-470 cards. Unless in a hurry, it might pay to wait for the expected Oct 28 launch.

I3-6100 can run most any graphics card you can buy, even a GTX1080.
