Hello all, i have a Optiplex 3010 MT with I-5 3470 after market case, ssd, 600w PSU and 8g of ddr3 ram
i really trying to get a GPU that would work the best for the $200 mark, i seen some nvidia ones and some amd which i have no clue about the amd side of things, some are 4g and some are 8g of ram which i'm not really sure if 4g ddr6 would be better then 8g ddr5 and all of that
can anyone please tell me what would be the best gpu to get for that price point?
also should i just go for a cheaper card and raise my ram to 16?

thank you in advance :)

What is your PSU's brand and EXACT model number?

That said, $100 is probably not worthy/doable. The best price/performance around that is in the $120-$130 range, the RX 570 4GB. Around Christmas, one model was $99.99, but currently, the cheapest one is $129.99. The RX 570 4GB EASILY outperforms the GTX 1050. It performs a little bit above the GTX 1060 3GB.

Unfortunately, when you drop down to the $80-$100 range, the performance drop is too big for the savings involved.

There is no RX 580 GDDR6..

Of Course GDDR6 would be better. But They are expensive you know. Cheapest one is GTX 1650 Super, but That not worth it over Cheapest RX 580.
well, that's what i mean te 580 have as 8g ddr5 but there's like 1650 and such which got less ram but it's ddr6 so would the differance in the amount of ram worth the differance between ddr5-6?

also which 580 would be best to get?

Respectable
I’d check out EVGA’s B stock (on wednesdays when they have mid week madness sales). Last wednesday there were 980 Ti’s for like $90. As you can imagine, though, they sell like hotcakes and you’ll need to be very fast. Although they always have different deals so you might not find what you’re looking for, but it’s worth a look. It is their refurbished GPU’s that come with one year warranty.

Not worth it to buy EVGA B-Series. They are returned product that other people having problem with + come with scratches or dent. I bought one before from evga b-series and the warranty was pain in the ass to deal with. You pay for shipping, they will retest and said it work, they ship it back to you the same card and on your end it dont work again -.- you will go through phone calls, emails, video test proof..it was really pain in the ass.
