I'm currently building a PC, so far I have http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/HLBfCJ, which graphics card would fit better into the build? a GTX970 or a R9 290X
Is the fact that the GTX970 uses less power and runs much cooler a good reason to go with it, after the whole 3.5GB GDDR5 ram problem? I know the GTX970 gets better performance benchmarks for the games I play, I play in 1080p, I won't be moving to a higher resolution than that for a long time. If I was to I would buy a new graphics card and run sli/crossfire.
But for my build specifically which is better, please consider the future and crossfiring/sli which is better to run two cards, I am not using a water-cooling loop, all my cooling is done via fans in my case and the CPU fan.
