which graphics card is compatible for my desctop

hi i have an acer aspire xc-215 and the current graphics is amd e2 6110 apu with radeon r2 graphics. i want to hook up 3 monitors to my desktop for trading and have been told i need a graphics card but dont know what is compatible. Maplins said i need low profile but im not sure if that is right for my model. any help here would be great as i am lost with it all now. thanks

Any low profile PCIe card will work. I'm thinking something like a GT 720 would be a good bet, maybe a Radeon R7 240.

i found this on ebay /Low Profile ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 1GB Graphics Card £32. would i need some kind of adaptors for the screens or just a hdmi splitter. thanks

All modern cards will have DACs for three video outputs, but most low profile cards will probably only have two ports because you can't physically fit 3 ports onto them. I don't know if you can split a single HDMI or DVI port in two, but I believe it's possible with display port. You'll need a second opinion on this.

Have you considered an external video adapter? They make them that attach via USB.

do you mean to buy 3 of them so i could plug into individual usb ports. would i still need a graphics card

You can continue to use the graphics card you have, and add as many USB graphics adapters as you want to get extra screens.
