Which graphics card should I buy ? Gtx 1060,1070,1070 ti

I play at 1600*900 resolution
I have the i5 3330 ( I know it's really old ),16 GB ram
I was planning to buy the gtx 1060 ROG STRIX 6 GB until a friend of mine said its really outdated in the fall of 2017 and that it won't support future games at a good fps, Few other say gtx 1060 is a really good one,
But since the 1070 ti is new I'm having thoughts about buying it but I'm afraid it will bottleneck my pc
I really need to spend as low as possible and I'm not a fan of and,
Any suggestions to my situation ?

Your friend is wrong. There is no reason to buy a 1070 or 1070 Ti for a 1600x900 monitor. A 1060 will be plenty. If you were playing at 1920x1080 I would still recommend a 1060 but a 1070 could be justified. I don’t typically recommend a 1070 or higher until you go up to a 2560x1440 monitor.

if ur going to buy a gtx 1060 6gb it is sufficient to run any game on ultra and high setting on a good frame rate ultra but if u want to buy a future secure card then i'll recommend u 1070 or 1070 ti as they will give u more frame rate on higher resolution. But if ur on a tight budget then 1060 will get the work done for u ;-)
