Which graphics card should I chose for my home server

Related to my last thread - I am taking the advice of buying a dedicated graphics card for my home server. The aim to promarily watch movies via direct connect hdmi to the TV.

This is my current board. I picked out two cards, one AMD, one Nvidia. I have used Nvidia cards on an AMD chipset board before with zero problems. Being this is a separate issue, what do you all feel about it?

Here are my choices:

Radeon
or
Nvidia

personally I prefer the Nvidia gpu. besides msi is a very good brand with excellent warranty.

I think Nvidia would be better since it wont make as much noise, and it will be quieter than the AMD equivlent
