Which graphics card to choose?

I have a choice between Palit 9800GT for $140 (AUD)
and Gigabyte 9800GT for $170 (AUD)
both being 512MB, is it worth paying extra $30 for the name? is palit reliable?

Depends on what you plan on doing with the card. If you are going to OC then you should probably get Gigabyte because they are the bigger brand and their quality will be much better and much more suited for OC'ing

Im not planning to OC atm, just not sure about the reliability of Palit
