I am thinking around the £200 mark and want to run newest games medium-high 60fps for next few years at least.
My specs are
R9 270 2GB
A88x-G45 motherboard A8-6600k APU with Intel HD graphics 3.6 GHz
8GB RAM
Windows 7

Not sure if it will fit in the case and I don't know the model name but it is this one. Also don't know my PSU model or if it could handle the new Graphics card, or if I should upgrade something else first, but I think it's mainly my GPU that needs improving

Follow his advice. 1070 would be good, otherwise 1080 if you really want to adopt it at that price point.

your whole system is low tier, not just the gpu

you need to know the make and model of the power supply before anyone can recommend a new card

open your case, take a picture of the psu upload it to imgur then link to here

we can go from there

lol man, the sticker with the info we need is on the opposite side

turn off the pc, unplug the cable that goes to the wall

then unscrew the unit from the back side of the case, should only be 4 screws

leave everything plugged in just pick it up and turn it around and take a picture

then set it back down and re install

you would also need to upgrade the power supply, which means £200 is not enough

this is the closest I could make it for a decent upgrade:

Thanks. I'll see if I can afford this. Would a CPU upgrade be necessary aswell if so which to, same price probably but I'd buy them at different times

depends, on some games this will run very well

any kind of high cpu bound game though it will suffer

you have a nice motherboard, so I suggest overclocking the cpu to gain as much performance as possible

if you don't have a decent aftermarket cpu cooler that would be a good investment as well

if you find performance not to your liking then come back and post for help =)

My CPU cooler isn't brilliant but I have a couple of decent fans and heat doesn't seem to be a problem. Although with new components I may need a better one. I was considering between either buying new GPU/CPU + new PSU, or getting all the cheaper things like PSU, (possibly an SSD to put the OS on to speed my PC up), maybe even more RAM; Then getting new Graphics card and or CPU later on
