Which Graphics Card would be BEST for my PC?
Can I use anything better than R7 240 1GB GDDR5?

Solution
I would go with a gtx 1030. If you had a better PSU you could probably go with a 1050 or 1050ti. But even then, you system may bottleneck those GPUs. I think the 1030 is the better choice.
I don't know if a motherboard of that era would work with the newer Nvidia GPUs.

I'd suggest a GTX 750Ti would probably make a nice upgrade from the R7 240.

It might not hurt to do some searching to see if anyone has used a newer Nvidia GPU, say a 900 series or a 1050/1050Ti successfully on the G41M-ES2L motherboard.

Now that I think about it, I think you may be right if that board does not run a UEFI bios. I cant confirm if it does or not, but I did not see a mention on the gigabyte support page.

Looking at the PSU (and CPU) I would suggest to go for a GPU with a drawing 75W max, thus with no external PCI-E power connectors.
Could be that someone in the forum has one of these cards left over and could give it to you for more or less free.
Investing money into a new GPU I feel does not make sense.

You mean most suitable because the best GPU for any system would be the best one on the market.
