Alright so im about to order my graphics card and Im stuck between 3 of them, I do not plan to overclock it, as I don't know how. My question is out of these 3 graphics cards, which would you recommend and is there any reason why you recommend it over the others? This is my first build so im just buying it part at a time and im not sure spec wise which would be better for gaming.

They are all 980s, so they will all perform around the same. Core clocks are all within 100MHz of each other, so 5-10% difference. Warranty is also all 3yrs for the most part. All also all have good coolers on them. Cheapest is which I'd chose. Can't tell you what that is as Nvidia hides the price.

The evga and the msi are both $520 and the gigabyte is $510, I just didn't know if one brand was more reliable than the other and how each customer service departments were. I don't want to buy a card and then be speaking with reps that have no idea what they're doing either. I like the color scheme of the msi, as my build is white, red and blue, but I don't know if evga or gigabyte have a better name behind them. If that makes sense.

EVGA is generally considered great. If you ask 10 people what they think of X company you will get 10+ answers. People love Corsair in general. My experience with them wasn't good. I still suggest their products, but my personal experience with them wasn't great. I'm mentioning this because if you go on a forum and ask which company is better, you're back to hearing 10+ answers.

I don't recall hearing any company being bad at honoring warranties, and considering they are all 3 yrs (one had a 2yr limited warranty?) then it shouldn't matter much. You should look up each model to see if there is a defect/problem with it. But from what I see they all cost the same, have the same chip, have good coolers, and have the same warranty. If you built three computers and used each one, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. (Unless a model search turns up one with a coil whine problem, etc.)

alright, ill give each one a search and see if any defects turn up.

All 3 cards are from reputable manufacturers, so there is no real difference as far as quality is concerned. The MSI card has fans that will turn off when they are not needed (ASUS ones do this too). If you overclock, the Gigabyte card has the best cooling system of the group (but you mentioned that you are not).

If you have a hardware issue, EVGA has the best warranty process for customers in the USA.

Have fun!
