Hi folks,

As per the title which would a great graphics card for architectural 3D modelling and rendering?

Will be using autodesk revit, sketch up and v-ray and possibly other rendering software.

I was recommended the GTX 1070 ti and also the quadro P2000 which has left me confused of which is better as I am a novice.

Any help appreciated

Thanks
Ciaran

The way I'd approach this is to look into the monitors that would be suitable for this type of work. How much would they cost you and is that within your budget? You may decide it's too much and stick with regular monitors. Next, try and decide how new and advanced of a Quadro you really need. The software will determine this. It might be that a P2000 is more than you need. In the same way that not everyone needs the most expensive gaming card, not everyone needs the most expensive Quadro.
At the moment I'm am starting into rendering models etc. In order to increase customers I would like to be able to achieve professional renders or almost professional. I have just two normal monitors. I will be updating them in th near future a month or two down the line from when I build the new workstation.
