Which Graphics driver should i install? please guide me

Hello

I have some doubts in installing new drivers. I bought a new lenovo laptop and its config is


AMD A8 5550M 2.1 GHZ
8 gb ram
1tb HDD
512 mb Amd Radeon HD 8550G (Integrated Graphics)
2Gb Amd Radeon HD 8570m (Dedicated Graphics)

With the lenovo laptop, i received a lenovo driver cd for windows 8. In that the Driver CD, there is Graphics driver and its version is 12.102.1.8

But on AMD Website the latest driver version is 13.10 Beta.

My doubt is which should i install? If i install the latest driver version 13.10, then when i check the device manager it is showing as 8550G and 8500 Series. It is not showing the exact graphics card numbers.

But if i install the little older version from driver cd and check the device manager, it is showing correctly as 8550G and 8570M.

So i cannot install new version drivers? If i install the 13.10 version and if it shows as 8550G and 8500 Series. Will my dedicated card work? becoz it is just showing as 8500 series and not exactly as 8570m. so my dedicated card will work?

Which should i install? Please explain me in detail.

I think it's because the website is offering you beta drivers. The ones from the CD should be current.

The latest is a beta driver. For what you're doing, I would just stick with the regular one.

That is up to you to test.

Use the drivers from the CD and play a few games. Then install the beta drivers and compare FPS.
