To make this easiest for you. A lot of people will come tell you this card is better than this card and blah blah. At most you might see 5-6 fps difference between partner cards. The biggest differences come down to cooling, look, how big they are. Mostly the only advice I would give you is A. Try to stay away from gigabyte cards and PNY cards they seem to have the biggest rep with problems reffering to graphics cards. And B. Don't overpay for asus rog cards the extra 50-70$ they want just isn't worth it.

So mainly just pick the one that will fit your cooling needs and throw in a little consideration for which one you think looks best and boom that's the one you should get.

Ok thanks, which one of these two has better cooling and would you recommend?

They are both within my budget but im not sure which to pick.

Whichever one you like better. Personally I like the MSI one cause it looks cooler.

In all honesty the cooling solution doesn't make much difference. They all run within a few degrees of each other. Just get the one you can afford. They are all overclockable to be equal with each other with almost no effort.

Gigabyte and PNY are fine. I've owned them multiple times for years and GPU generations and have never had a single reliability issue (most recent is a Gigabyte GTX 1070 Mini ITX and a PNY GTX 780). They both have solid warranties as well. Kind of funny that the brand that many hold up as the gold standard - EVGA - has been the one catching fire with some models, and yet Gigabyte and PNY are singled out as problem children.
