Ok, so I'm about to upgrade my GTX 970 to 1080 but I have no idea which one to choose because there is a lot of 1080's. I found Inno3D iChill GTX 1080 X3 and Palit GTX 1080 GameRock Premium at a decent price, but still not sure. Any thoughts?

Honestly in speaking terms of performance. Make/model of 1080 doesn't really matter.

Only reason to pick a specific vendor is for it perks. Like Asus normally comes with 3 fans (though not proven to be more effective then MSI twin frozer setup). MSI comes with very basic lighting effects and decent OC out of factory, Stix normally has really good RGP lighting effect etc....

I personally picked MSI because of the nice overclocking out of factory which was tested by the manufacture before shipping. Ensures a very good stable overclock right off the bat.
