Which GTX 1080ti to buy?

Alright,

I am stepping up to a GTX 1080ti from my current Asus GTX 770 2GB. I am almost certainly buying an Aorus GPU this time around and I have noticed that they make two separate GTX 1080ti models. One is a basic OC GTX 1080ti and the second is called the extreme edition... The clocks seem a bit faster and the copper heat sync looks a bit larger on the backplate.

My question is: would it be worth the extra $50 for the GTX 1080ti extreme edition or just run the plain gtx1080ti (first world problems, I know)

50 bucks for fluff imo. but since you have 700 bucks to spend on a card, you could say screw it, whats 50 bucks?

All the 1080tis are basically the same in performance, all the difference that most of them have are the clock speeds. I think the Extreme Edition is the highest clocked 1080 ti anyway. But I'd say you should go with what suits you without looking at performance since they are awfully same in performance. Go for cheaper or looks.
