Um thinking to buy an gtx 970 but which one is better EVGA, Gigabyte or any other brand ??? and gaming ram which supports my old s****y mobo H61m-S2PV

Solution
No, 16gb is what i'd recommend personally. There are already games like COD : BO3, SW : Battlefront that use more than 7.5 gigs of memory, the number of games will increase this year and later.
Hello,
Technically, there are no differences in gaming performance in either of those, all has same GTX 970 chip in them, you want the one which is cheaper to you, service is good in your area, looks well with your build.

In my experiance, the ASUS and EVGA been the best in terms of quality and service.

As for RAM, i'd look for 8gb DDR3 of 1333 or 1600 mhz speeds. If you have extra to spend, consider the 16gb ram.

thnx for the advice btw if I use 16 gb DDR3 1600mhz ram will give me any trouble in gaming ??? Ex. Lagging etc....
