which gtx 980 version?

i want to get the new gtx 980.
but which one is the best? i kinda like the reference design.

Pick up the MSI model. They have done really well recently with the high end 7xx cards, and now with the 9xx cards as well.
ASUS Strix takes a close second, but its not quite the same.

I would honestly take whichever of the two you can find in stock.
