Which GTX 980 ?

Hello all, im planning on getting one of the gtx 980s. however im not sure which is the best one price isnt a issue im mainly wanting a card with good cooling that doesnt look atrocious. the one i had in mind was the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121905 is there a better one than this ? and is it worth putting off buying a 980 until a TI version comes out ?

well let me ask you this should i just get the 970 instead? i wanted a card that was going to last me a pretty long time. and i figure the 980 would last a bit longer than the 970

980 performs 30% better for $200 more, so the 970 is currently like the #1 card for the money. When the time ever comes, you could always buy a second 970 which performs better than one 980 by a lot.

you want the best gtx 980? get the ROG poseidon gtx 980. it has hybrid air and watercooling.

Hmm I doubt you want to spend $700 for two 970s, but if you are going with one GPU get the 980 for 4K.

Hmm I doubt you want to spend $700 for two 970s, but if you are going with one GPU get the 980 for 4K.

about what i figured, i have the NZXT H440 case and ive heard that doing a sli in it creates lots and lots of heat lol

zotac amp extreme looks cool to with those interchangeable led lights and has 3 fans to cool the card. but for something thats is just plain simple but cool looking the msi twin frozr v does the job.
