Hi guys. I'm gonna be replacing my dead 2Tb Seagate HDD anytime soon and I could use some opinions.

Which one would be better to buy, the Seagate 2Tb Hybrid SSHD or WD 2Tb Black?

And oh, main purpose is gaming and programming. And if you could suggest any other HDD in this range that you think is much better, please do! Thanks.

yeah on the other hand my Seagate drive lasts for 5 years now. it's not like they're all bad.

anyway, SSHD sounds good on paper but only the flash storage is faster and that's just 8GB on the 1TB (so I guess 16-20GB for the 2 TB)
for the other data the WD Black is faster

The 15 years wasn't one drive.. i should have made it clear. But as I had 3 IBM drives die in 6 months, i thought it was a good break from hdd deaths, I had 5 WD drives in that time, but only one of them ran for more than 9 years without being replaced, and it was a storage drive so had it easy, like my Seagate is now. Hardly got any activity in that time. Now my ssd takes all the work and Seagate gets to sleep most days.
