Which headphones should I choose?

I'll mostly be using it for music and games.

I'm thinking about this one:

I have no idea what headphones are better as I only researched these two to be the best one I found. Well, heck if you can recommend me one that's better than these for under 100$ then go ahead.

Sennheiser are one of the best I have ever used, not familiar with the other brand. I am currently using SkullCandy which I feel has good quality at a reduced price.

for $100 if you live in the usa you can often find ath-m50s on ebay as open box but brand new.

there is a HUGE difference between the m50 and m30 (i own a pair of m50s and i gifted my brother a m30).

Hm.. idk if i should risk getting an open box
How long is the warranty on that headphone anyways? I kinda wanna feel safe like if anything happens like a faulty wire, etc. I'd be covered for atleast a year or so.

well you can buy them brand new in a sealed box for a bit more if that is what you wish. i only listed the open box because thats the cheapest "new" pair you can buy regularly. not everyone feels comfortable buying anything but brand new so if you are more comfortable with brand new then you would need to spend a bit extra if you wanted such if you wanted the m50s.

the m50s are pretty hardy though and not prone to breaking. the wire is 5/32" thick and the ends are metal with a strain relief spring. the cable isnt going to break like other headphones. the rest of the frame is pretty hardy plastic. i've owned mine for several years so far and they have held up well.

they come with a 2 year warranty (and it states as much on that ebay link to the open box model)

your choice of course. just trying to give you the best for under $100
