Which i5 CPU and motherboard should I get?

I was wonder which intel i5 cpu I should get? I am debating if I should get a i5 4670 or i5 3570 People are saying you should just get an i5 3570 for the price, the games I plan on running is Arma3, DayZ, bf4, and Neverwinter. I also got another question which motherboard should I get for an i5 I am thinking about getting an MSI Z87 or an H87.

There's not much difference in performance - the 4670 will be about 10% more powerful than the 3570.

But the 3570 should ber cheaper.

But the 4670 uses the lga1150 socket which is still current. The 3570 uses the old 1155 socket

If you are going for the 4670 as it can't be overclocked, just use an H87 mobo.

Follow the simple rule. If you are buying processor which is "k" series that is factory unlocked, buy Z87 chipset series mobo otherwise buy H87/81 chipset series mobo.

I would recommend i5 4670k along with Asus Z87-A/C mobo.

Or a cheaper option would be i5 4440 and Asus H81M-PLUS motherboard (with 2 SATA-III, 1 internal USB 3.0 header, 1 PCIe x16 slot and 1600MHz RAM).

dont go with ivy bridge, get 4670 and the new H97 for better upgradability! since you arent aming for any o/c!
