I currently have a gtx 980 TI
ASUS H97 PRO GAMER MOTHERBOARD

I'm looking for somethign where i can play games and bot at the same time.
Currently i'm using a I3 ( i know it's terrible) I can run some instances but after x amount it just gets to 100% cpu. I am looking for a proccesor where i can open as much games as possible.
I might get an I7 but i heard it's for editing stuff or 4k screens?
Which model should i buy?

You don't have a Z MOBO, so no overclocking and no 6600k. You can go for the 6600 non-k, it will be pretty good, but you also can go for the i7-6700. About what you heard: i7 basically excels on editing, but it doesn't mean it won't beat the i5 in gaming, because it will. It just means that you are going to pay for something you won't use(or will you?). Go for the i7-6700 and you pretty much have a setup that will last for 4 years minimum.

Since OP already has an 1150 motherboard, I would not recommend changing motherboards to get a 6xxx CPU.

i7's are not just for video editing. The reason people usually recommend i5's over i7's is that i5's are generally already enough to get 60fps in most games. However, an i7 will be noticeably faster in titles like Battlefield and GTA.

I recommend either an i5 4690 or 4690K, or an i7 4790 or 4790K.

I don't really care about th quality to much since i play at lowest. I just wanna be able to be able to run as many games at the same time as possible.
with games i mean only league of legends at lowest but with multiple instances on with vmware.

In BF1 even an overclocked i5 6600k struggles to hold 60fps. Unfortunately lowering the settings doesn't reduce the the CPU load very much, it just reduces gpu load. As you cant overclock and if you really want BF1 to run smooth then Id go i7 4790.

For any other game an i5 4690 is fine but as you specifically mentioned BF1 you need to manage expectations

You said you could to play on the lowest settings if needed. Just saying that you have the best gpu from the last generation. You can run any game with that, you just need a better CPU to keep it up. If you don't want to change the MOBO, go for the 4790.
