Hey guys, im new to this forum. I want to buy a i7 , which one should i get?. Im not going to overclock, im not fan of overclocking, this is my current pc spec

- Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
- Asus SABERTOOTH Z77 Socket 1155 HDMI DisplayPort 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
- Asus GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II 2GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card
- Crucial 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz Ballistix Sport Memory Kit CL10 1.5V
- Windows 7 64bit
- OCZ 60GB Agility 3 SATA-III 2.5 and 1tb hardrive

I want one price range £200 - £300. And thinking about rendering video as well and using this pc to play games as well. Cheaper the better.

Thanks guys!

yeah like i7Baby said the i7 3770K...Due to Supply and demand there is an increase in price from quite a few retailers Though there are plenty of places online to get the i 3770k at the MSRP or cheaper and Micro Centre Still might have really good deals on them. Performance wise Haswell is only about 20% faster than Sandy Bridge in benchmarks and about 5-10% faster than Ivy Bridge. So you are already on the Z77 platform with a good Mb so you should be able to get a decent OC from this CPU if you ever feel the need.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest. An iGPU is only useful if your discrete GPU dies.
