Hi I am going to assemble following configuration.

Intel i3 3220
Samsung 22" full hd Led with hdmi- S22B370H
8gb transcend Ram
Asus 1gb Gt630 graphic card
Sony cd rom
400 w power supply
IBall / circle micro atx cabinet(4 USB slots in front)
Logitech key board and mouse

Which is best motherboard for above configurations.

till now i have finalized following 2
1) Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H
2)ASUS P8H61-M LX Motherboard

Please tell me whether these motherboard support 3rd generation processor or not? and which one is good for budget and at least recomended...

The H61 chipset is kind of old now and I would go with either an H77 or Z77 motherboard. If you got the H61 the Ivy Bridges I3 your motherboard isn't going to support that CPU right out of the box. You are going to need to get a Sandy Bridges CPU just so you can get the computer to boot so you can flash the BIOS. Once you do that then the Ivy Bridges CPU will work. IMO that is alot of hassle and extra money for an old chipset. It would be easier just to get the Z77 or H77 plus those chipsets have added features over the older H61.

if you order from micro center you can get your i3 and Z77 board for under 200

There really isn't much point in getting a Z77 motherboard if you are going to pair it with an I3. One of the main features with the Z77 is that is it allows for great overclocking when paired with an unlocked CPU. If you aren't going to be overclocking there isn't a point in getting a Z77 motherboard. If you are going to get a CPU with a locked multiplier you would be better off just getting a H77 motherboard.

thank you guys...since B75 is cheaper and will fill my requirements so i am opting for this...now i have to decide which brand i should get it assus or gigabyte..i have finalized following 2
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H vs ASUS P8B75-M LX

The reason to go Z77 if he were able to get it from micro center is he gets 40 dollars off any Z77 with the purchase of the i3.

yes you are right dear,

Yes I get that you would get it for the discount but it is a waste. There is no point in getting a Z77 motherboard paired with an I3. You can get a cheap 70 dollar H77 motherboard and I3 for the same price. The promotion is pointless. It would be like pairing an I7 2600K with an H61 motherboard.
