The motherboard doesnt really impact the performance, unless you are using it to overclock.
Depends on what CPU but if you are getting a 3700X or even a 10 core, you are fine with a B550, if you dont go crazy with storage. The B550 Steel Legend has been getting good feedback, good VRM temps and doesnt really cost too much, might be something to consider.
