Which is best to do?

Alright. I have asked different kinds of builds in this forum and I found them helpful. Although even now I still haven't bought anything because of money problems atm. However, question though. Would it be better off if I just start off with a really cheap desktop build of around $300 - 400 and then save up to upgrade them eventually? Or would it be better to just save up and wait longer to buy a build that is about $900.

Save up. It's better to just get a good computer all at once, than to buy a less than ideal PC (or components) early, then upgrade.

Right off the bat I would buy a good motherboard, power supply, case, and storage. id focus on these parts.
