Picking a card based on its power consumption is not a good idea to determine which is "better".

Nvidia generally can get the same performance for lower power consumption - there are benefits to this, such as less heat and therefore quieter opteration (due to less fan speed).

But you need to be more specific with the models of gpu to compare.

If possible people will want something with lower power consumption. But that's not factoring performance.

In it's most basic form, a Low power consumption Graphics card is better because it will consume less power, but it may not be so good because it may not have such good performance.

However, a high power consumption card will likely have decent performance at the expense of a high power requirement.

Your question is confusing- Are you trying to compare zotac Nvidia cards and sapphire radeon cards? If you are, here's my opinion.

Zotac Nvidia cards will have less power consumption than Sapphire Radeon cards while still delivering the same kind of performance.

However, sapphire Radeon cards tend to be cheaper initially that Nvidia cards but run hotter and can have high power consumption.

So really, you have to base it of your needs. What are you looking for? Is power consumption an issue for you?
