Question Which is better, a mousepad or a deskpad ?

Hi!
I need a mousepad for my Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro mouse.


I need to decide between two options:

1. I buy a smaller mousepad and get a Keebmat keyboard mat for my keyboard (Wooting 80 HE). In this case, my left hand would make contact with the desk while using the mouse, since there would be no mousepad area in front of the keyboard.
2. I buy a mousepad that's about 90 cm wide, as I would also place my keyboard (Wooting 80 HE) on it with a Keebmat keyboard mat. I'm a bit concerned about extreme dirt buildup in front of the keyboard. Should I worry about that?

Which option would be better?


What kind of mousepad would you recommend? I've been using a Razer Gigantus so far, and I've really liked it.

I've moved away from mouse pads since they only cover the area under your mouse. A deskmat would cover the majority of your desk and it looks uniform when you have your mouse and keyboard resting atop of said deskmat.

You might want to include images of your desk and perhaps it's dimensions as well, schematically, text doesn't do much in painting an image of the desk you're working with.

2| Dirt building up will happen regardless of what pad/mat you pick, you just need to be diligent with clean the mat's surface.
