Which is better budget monitor, HP Pavilion 22ca or Acer R240HY bidx?

I am looking for a monitor around $100. The two I have found are the ones mentioned in the title. Which one is better quality?

I have had Acer and HP monitors over the years and have liked both brands very much. No problems with either that I've ever had. That Acer you have listed is bigger and has a very slightly faster response time vs the HP. The extra cost is mainly in the size though.

Do you have a MicroCenter near you? If so, I would recommend the Acer HA230. I picked one up about 3 weeks ago and it is great. It is 23" 75hz 1080p and is FreeSync capable. MicroCenter has it for $99. I see one on Amazon for $114 but with no reviews. If you're gaming the 75hz could benefit you. If you also happen to have an AMD video card, FreeSync is also a nice benefit.
