which is better combo for gaming? I'm from India.
  1. amd cpu and amd gpu
  2. Intel cpu and nvidia gpu
  3. amd cpu and nividia gpu
  4. intel cpu and amd gpu
- I like 3080ti and 6800xt(performance per dollar), In these which is better for 1440p gaming and live streaming. Already I have 5 year old PC for streaming https://pcpartpicker.com/user/23rdpulikesi/saved/#view=kLPhMp
To my knowledge I feel these parts are good:
  • I 9-12900k and MSI RTX 3080 Ti Ventus 3X OC 12GB = $2360
  • 5950x or 5800x3d or 5900x + MSI RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio 16GB = around$2050

On average, it would seem the 3080Ti is normally a tad faster in most games...(you'd have to weigh it's cost to performance advantages/disadvantages, as appropriate)

The 5800X3D is generally acknowledged as being fastest at pure gaming, but, there are no processors (or GPUs) you have listed that when paired would give a 'buyer's regret' experience...

With the 12900K being almost $600 typically, I'm not sure I consider it a 'must have' when the excellent 5900X is available at very good prices recently....(The 5800X was recently featured by Tom's as being sub -$290 on Amazon?)

The best combo is the one that delivers the most performance for the task you want at the price you want, there is no magic to mixing brands.
Look at the games and workloads you plan on working with, look up benchmarks for your considered GPU and CPUs.
Pick the top performer from each and there you have it.

Mixing cpu and gpu makers does not have any benefit or drawbacks.
For fast action games or high resolutions, the graphics card becomes the most important. mix and match as you wish.
Both 6800XT and 3080ti are comparable, with perhaps a nod to the 3080ti.

On cpu bound games, the single thread performance becomes more important.
The 12900K wins here with better single thread performance.

The extra threads of the 5950x are useful for batch apps, but not for games.
Most games can not effectively use more than 6-8 threads anyway.
Multiplayer is a possible exception.

Then, is the $200 important?
At this level, it probably is not.
