Which is better for far cry 4 between-
(1)i3 5th gen 12gb ram and intel hd 520 graphics
(2)i5 6th gen 4 gb ram and amd radeon r5 430 dedicated graphics card

Solution
On other hand, 2nd choice at least has good CPU, supposedly.
So on that, adding more ram and different (read better) GPU could get things done.

Downside is that Original poster didn't mention what kind of computers these were. If they are laptops, replacing GPU is near impossible. If desktops, I would also suspect that the PSU is weak and wont be capable of feeding decent enough GPU for Farcry4

All in all, It is quite likely that for same amount of money, better (It is quite likely that if par is still FC4, the price point will be higher than the computers listed) parts list can be given.

Yes, Better than the first one. The downside is that like Bugessanthony, I also agree that it can't do FC4 on high settings.
Low settings and lower resolution at best if at all.
Farcry 4 minimum requirements have:
Operating system: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64bit versions only)
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1GB VRAM)

And.. sad to say but that 5850 would beats the pants off R5 430 by being about 60 to 70% faster.

So.. yes, 2nd choice is better than 1st one but good for said game? no. Also since memory amount is 4GB, they might have put in 32bit windows instead of 64bit and 64 bit OS is minimum requirement for FC4.

I would say that the nvidia 930m is a lot better.
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Far-Cry-4-Benchmarked.131069.0.html
That has 930m at place 191 and 40FPS on low details, 27.95 average on medium

Said list doesn't have R5 430M in it though so.. comparing them directly on same benchmark site (and thus same benchmark/settings) is not really an option. General googling and few other benchmarks suggest that 930M is around 50% better overall than R5 M430

First link, details medium, FPS as mentioned, 14 to 16. I would not call that "playable"
While second is on high details the framerate shown is not all that great.

It seems that for laptops with GPU's better than 930M, the budget is quite limited.
I3, 4GB ram, 930M, 36399

I3, 8GB ram, 930M, 38940 (but I think that extra 4GB of ram will really help.

That said, I fear I cannot help much more. 930M seems to be about best that can be found on laptops at that price point.
Also while I5 is better than i3, graphics card matters more as far as laptop's gaming performance matters.

Edit:
I5, 8GB of ram, 940M, 51999

So.. yes, it seems that no better GPU's are offered with I3 and jump to I5 and decent GPU costs a lot more.

Edit2: I have to agree with burgessanthony, for gaming, too weak system will make you hate it all. Save and get better when you can or.. if you really need it for other things too, get cheaper one.
Web browsing and general usage wont need good GPU.

While that computer would be better than earlier as far as RAM and CPU is concerned, it's GPU leaves a lot to be desired.
in short, Intel HD520 is capable of around 30 to 35% of what Nvidia 930M can do.

Since on laptop side, Farcry is most often bottlenecked by GPU, that is not a good choice for gaming.
