I wouldn't get the i3 because, it's good currently, but it has no potential.
i5 has a lot of potential and much more posibility, for variables.
I say. If you are gaming at 1680 x 1050 or lower, and you absolutely don't care much about future proofing. Go with the i3 combo.
If you want to future proof, want more flexibility, and/or game at or above 1080p. Go with the i5 combo.
