Which is better for gaming?

There are two cards I'm looking at the R 290 and the R 280X. The 280X has the higher core clock speed. and I'm trying to decide which to pick. And if asus graphics cards are the better manufacturer?

ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 hands down! It is cheaper than the matrix, and overall a very good game performance card that comes with 3GB at a very good price point. Get this Asus one, it's supposedly quieter than the other 280x's by a mile.
