which is better for gaming

I am building a new pc for gaming heavy so would a I5 3570k or I5 4690k be better for gaming

There's not really much difference, or at least no noticeable difference. Technically, the i5 4690k may be able to help with some games which are CPU intensive, although there aren't really many games that actually require that little extra power.

With the price difference so small between the models, I would just get the i5 4690k simply because it is more powerful in other areas, not just gaming, for very little extra money.
