[SOLVED] Which is better for the Graphics card that I bought?

I have this MSI RTX 3070 Ventus 3x OC graphics card and i5-8600, I was about to upgrade the cpu. I don't know which one is better for 1080p gaming. i7-9700k or i9-9900k because when I search the bottleneck calculator it shows that the i7-9700k is better in 1080p with 0.08% bottleneck and in i9-9900k in 1080p it has 2.26% bottleneck.

Specification:
MOBO: B360 Aorus Gaming 3
PROC: i5-8600
RAM: 24GB RAM (2x4gb 2666mhz and 2x8gb 3200mhz)
GPU: MSI RTX 3070 Ventus 3x OC
PSU: Corsair VS650

There's no such thing, they're all absolute rubbish!

The 9900k IS a 9700k with smt/hypertheading.

That makes it the better cpu plain and simple.

They'll perform identically on a lot of current games,the 9900k will perform better on titles that support/require more threads.

A couple of years down the line the 9900k will doubtlessly hold its performance better.

You'll already be seeing the drawbacks of using a 6 core cpu without smt with your current 8600, it's ultimately pointless swapping it out for a cpu with a straight 2 extra cores imo.

Go for the 9900k, it's worth the extra $50 in the long run.
With either of those cpu's you are also going to need a good aftermarket cooler.

There is no such thing as "bottlenecking"
If, by that, you mean that upgrading a cpu or graphics card can
somehow lower your performance or FPS.
A better term might be limiting factor.
That is where adding more cpu or gpu becomes increasingly
less effective.
The "bottleneck calculator" is considered as junk science.

I would opt for the 9700K.
Yes, the 9900K has more threads, but not many games can effectively use more than about 4-6.
Your B360 motherboard is not really designed for a high power processor like the 9900K.

Past that, your VS650w psu is not considered as a quality unit.

a 9900k plus a strong 3070 may be a bit much.

A 9700K should be a great upgrade.

You are better off with the 16GB (2x8gb) @ 3200mhz in gaming than the 24GB mixed RAM
Make sure to have the latest BIOS before swapping CPU.
I wouldn't go with the i9-9900k on that motherboard. The CPU won't reach max potential.
