Which is better? G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB 2x4GB 1600 Mhz or Patriot Viper 8GB 2x4GB 1866 Mhz?

Sorry for the title.

Hey, so here's a noobish question, I'm wondering which memory set to get as I have seen BestBuy selling the Patriot Viper 3 for $49.99 while I have seen NCIX selling the G.Skill Ripjaws X for $54.99.

I've seen and read multiple reviews on both, but I am still torn as to which one I should get.

So I wonder, which one has the most bang for its buck? And I'm also curious to know if either would be compatible with my Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 motherboard. Thanks!

RAM speeds have a minimal effect on overall performance. Go for whatever RAM matches your build's color scheme if you have one, and is cheaper.
