which is better? gaming pc

depends on the game. Technically with the type of overclock you can get on the g3258 it will probably be pretty good for most of those, in tera or arma 3 for example it would be hands down the best option. That said I'd take your 2nd option every day of the week.

You can buy windows online at the ms website, download it, and use the microsoft USB/download tool to put that download onto a usb drive.

It's pretty straight forward and simple.

pls post your build with a budget of under 800, can run any games i listed all HIGH settings but remember im also putting about 200dollars for keyboard, monitor n an os so its a must basically a 600 budget XD

Better gpu, perfect cpu if you don't plan to overclock, swapped out the hard drive for a hybrid... personally i don't like building systems unless there is an SSD in it, but your budget doesn't really have room so a hybrid drive is a nice compromise. Swapped out the motherboard for one with a slightly better feature set... swapped the monitor out... no one should suffer with an acer monitor... gave you a better and larger asus for a few bucks more.

Just buy the iso online, download it and then follow the instructions.

thank you, but can you explain specific why your build is more worth than my 2nd option build?

im a newb wiith these pc parts.. so would you go with your build or mine?

well you said you don't plan to overclock. if you don't plan to overclock then getting an AMD makes zero sense. Simply put you need to overclock an AMD to get to or surpass a stock i3 or i5... otherwise that stock i3/i5 will put the beatdown on that amd cpu. The only reason to get a g3258 is if you plan to overclock as well... that leaves i3s and i5s as your only real option.

I prefer that i3-4130 because of the 3.4ghz base clock speed, which makes it superior in single cored games to that lower clocked i5-4430 (it should be almost 15% faster then that i5 in single cored games like Arma3 and Tera)... throw in the fact it's $60 cheaper and it seems like a no brainer. It will be nearly 40% stronger then a stock fx6300. as i said. you really need to overclock an AMD to match or surpass a stock intel.

my alternate build also sports a better monitor, and a better gpu. so on both of those fronts it's better as well.

how will this perform on good high end graphics mmos, fps games

such as arma 3
tera
dayz
archeage

and thanks for clearing that i need to oc a amd cpu... never knew that
