They trade blows, basically equal. In some respects the nvidia card is stronger, in some the amd, but overall they are roughly the same.

Except for power draws. The amd (surprisingly) is a 130w card, the nvidia is a 160w card, but because of boost algorithms, both can pull 20w or so higher. A decent 550w will easily handle either card, but a mediocre 500w may not be so fortunate and a POS 500w will be out of luck.

Do you care for Raytracing or DLSS? If yes, go Nvidia. If no, get whatever is cheaper.

The DLSS and RT that the 2000 series uses isn't really a game changer. It can help a little at times depending on your viewpoint and the game, but it's mostly a gimmick.

That's right.
I would say the Challanger 6600 with newer tech as well their FSR support would do as good DLSS from what I've seen.
