I'd recommend a newer gen card like GTX 1050 Ti / 1060 or RX 560 / 570 / 580.

They will be basically the same. I have used Gainward in the past, been fine.

Get whichever is cheaper unless theres a big difference in cooler type.

Evga cards have more prestige than Gainward which is a secondary trade mark.
Since the model design of Gainward its more compact its way better for SLI builds than the EVGA card, but dont take it wrong... Its only better on SLI builds than EVGA cards...
I would recommend you to go for the EVGA if you plan to stay with x1 gtx 960... Since it has better cooling and its from a more trustable brand in therms of building quality.

Gainward have been around far far longer than evga.

Theyre taiwanese based so by many are consisered second tier but the fact is there is nothing wrong with their products at all.

Been owned by Palit since 2005 so youll see,cards branded as either or both palit & gainward which are identical products

Base your purchase not on the manufacturer but on the actual card models.
