Question Which is better HDMI or DP

Hey so I was just wondering if I should use a display port cable for my main monitor, I have a dp cable for my seco dart monitor that I put at 60hz because I just use it for Google or whatnot and a HDMI for my main monitor I use for gaming. I was just wondering if I should swap the two, I know hdmi is probably worse then dp but just wanted to know. I’m just too lazy if it doesn’t make a huge difference.

It depends on the monitor and video card output. If the version for both ports can drive your monitor to its fullest, then it doesn't matter which one to use.

For example, if you have a monitor and video card with HDMI 2.0b, you can go up to 1080p 240Hz or 1440p 144Hz before you need compression.

As everyone else says, it may come down to what version your output and input are.

Other thing that may be important is audio, I've only been able to transmit audio via HDMI, not DP.

You can transmit audio over DP, at least on NVIDIA cards.

practically you will not notice any difference at all. I have done this test myself.
