Both companies make good products. I was in a similar situation to you, my decision was Sager, although a different model, the NP 8278-s. Asus is a more conservative build with somewhat better cooling and noise. Sager is good enough (not cheaply constructed) and better value for money IMHO.

i appreciate the feedback. i was asking this on other sites and got the same comments as well learning how the asus items are mostly permanent while the 9377 are socketed.
