Hi, i'm currently debating over two motherboards. Recently I just broke my
Biostar Intel LGA1155 Z77 Chipset ATX 2600MHz DDR3 Memory Motherboard. After a few hours and a lot of sweat I managed to fix it, but alas i had the Gigabyte on shipped to me yesterday. (Gigabyte LGA 1155 Intel B75 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX DDR3 1600 Motherboards GA-B75M-D3H)

I was wondering which motherboard is the best for my computer, Thank you I've provided links for your side by side amazon analysis.

Well actually it was a pain in the butt to fix the pins, I'm going to go with the Intel, next question is my 3 pin coolmaster water pump will work with 4 pin connector (I know that) but what negative effect will that have?

Hello,

Chipset wise - Z77 is better than B75. Z77 Chipset is exclusively for performance and it is an ideal platform for Overclockers only second to latest Z87 chipsets. B75 Chipset is business oriented and does not provide room for overclocking. Other than both support good processors and has almost similar features. Both are good motherboards for their respective chipsets. But in the end you need to ask whether you are going to overclock your system? If yes the Z77 chipset is the motherboard which is better other than that the Gigabyte motherboard should do good. Brand wise I prefer Gigabyte over BIOSTAR. IMO, Gigabyte is better than them. Good luck.
