[SOLVED] Which is better ? Push-Pull[15mm Fans] vs Push Only [25mm Fans] on thick 60mm Radiator

Hi Guys!!

I know in general Push - Pull setup is always better but I'm still asking because I'm restrained on space and i have to make a buying decision on Fans.
I have Max 90mm[At Most] space in my cabinet for placing 60mm thick Radiator[Top].

Radiator and PC Case

I can setup any of:
  • 3 x Arctic BionicX P120 in Push or Pull only setup will take total 60 +25 = 85mm space. Price for x3 Fans = INR 3750 / USD 50
  • 6 x ID-Cooling NO-1215XT 3 Push and 3 Pull setup will take total 60 +15+15= 90mm space. Price for x6 Fans = INR 4000 / USD 55

Since price difference not much, I'm after which ever is recommended for best performance.
Please recommend.

I don't how exactly sound scales.
Yea for sound it does matter. Since they will be set exhaust i will be setting them directly with psu. Consider full speed all times, no matter system load:
-3x Arctic bionic X rated each for 28 dbA @ 2100 rpm
Vs
- 6x Id cooling rated each 30dbA@2000 rpm
Again and finally...you cannot look at those things in isolation.

Push/Pull may cause more turbulence through the rad.
Or less.

Or more fans may cause slightly lower temps, but more vibration through your desk.
Or your system is closer to the wall, giving more reflected sound.
But if you rotate the case 15 degrees to the left, less reflected sound.
Or 1,000 other variables.

Your environment is different that every other place on the planet.

And still, there is no definitive "best".
Your particular airflow, components in the case, ambient temp, etc, etc.

I would start with a "not push-pull"
See how it performs.
Ok, here are my airflow.components:
  • Ambient room temp 30'C
  • 1660 super gpu aircooled.
  • 6 intake fans + 4 exhaust fans

Also do note those 15mm idcooling fans has 2000 rpm, 55cfm airflow and 1.8mm pressure.
If the specs mentioned holds truth.

There is no definitive best.

I'd put money on you not seeing any more than a 5C difference between Push only, and Push/Pull.
