Windows 7 is great. It has great compatibility with hardware, and it looks very nice compared to the other two earlier Windows versions.

Vista is a huge fail. XP is now the most stable OS, but losing support. Windows 7 is stable enough to switch to, and is the OS of the short term future.

I would 100% say windows 7.
