which is better?

What would be better for me to get for my gaming desktop I am building?

My MOBO is ASUS Rampage IV, my processor is i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E, and my graphics card is EVGA Superclocked w/ACX cooling GeForce GTX 770 2GB

If it's an intel build, I would go with one of the latter two. 1600 Mhz seems to be the sweet spot for Intel, and the low CAS latencies in both are a bonus, too. However, the Dominator Platinums are ridiculously overpriced, and you may want to just go with Corsair Vengeance with the same specs instead, as they perform identically.

Nope, the other two I mentioned are better. The difference between them won't be noticeable in-game, the best advice I can give is to get 1600 Mhz if you're going to overclock. Haswell seems to like 1600.

hi there! first of all sandny bridge-E has quad channel memory controller, so you need a quad channell memory kit!
For memory we aim for the highest speed with the lowest timming posible. both 2400mhz cl 10 are great but i would choose corsair dominator!!

If you can afford it, overclocking is always worth it, especially in the long run.
You can't go wrong with either of these. Neither of them have ridiculously high CAS latencies and you won't notice the difference, so go with whichever you prefer the looks of or fits your budget better. Also bear in mind that if you're solely gaming, you won't need 16gb anyway, 8gb will be fine.

Yep, I'd go for 4 x 4gb sticks. G.Skill make excellent RAM, so you shouldn't have any concerns at all. Corsair are usually the most popular brand for RAM, but G.Skill, Kingston and Crucial are all great. You shouldn't face any issues with that ram, at all.

Corsair. They're warranty is great (even though something going wrong will ram is very unlikely), they're products looks great and have the performance to match. If you have an air cooler, make sure you go with RAM that's low profile, such as the Corsair Vengeance LP, so it doesn't interfere with the fan. Otherwise, I would go with the Corsair Vengeance Pro as it just looks incredible.

I would go for the LP Vengeance, as it has the best timings etc. and won't get in the way, whichever set up you choose!

If you're wanting to do a custom loop, it requires a lot of knowledge etc. The best thing to do is go on YouTube and check out guides on how to configure your own loop. I recommend just grabbing a closed loop cooler for your CPU to save you the hassle and the money of a custom loop, unless your seriously wanting those huuuuge overclocks on both your cards and CPU.

Some air coolers match th performance of closed loop systems without the risk of leaks (very rare) and the noise. The NH-D14 is excellent. For water cooling, the H100i, Swiftech H220 and Kraken X60 are all great. Must dash now, work!
